PubG Banned in India, Looking for Alternative : FAUG?

India, which is famous for its well known architecture and culture is now facing a border dispute with china on the fact of China continue to follow its principle of expansionism. India is constantly doing everything to protect its National Security and Integrity.

The ministry of Electronics and IT (MEIT) on Wednesday, issued an orders to completely ban 118 more frequently used Chinese based apps after banning 59 different apps in the first round. The new apps include popular mobile gaming app PUBG – Player’s Unknown Battle ground, and apps from the stable of Baidu, Tencent and even Xiaomi.

The ministry said that they have taken these steps to protect India’s Integrity and National Security.

Last month, PM Modi led Indian government has prepared a list of 275 more frequently used Chinese apps including the popular gaming app PUBG Mobile which is to be banned on concerns of data security and India’s national integrity. This comes amid fresh tensions on the Sino-Indian border.

In a statement, the MEIT ministry has said that these apps are more engaged in the activities which can be proved as a danger to the sovereignty, security and integrity of India, defence of India, and even public order.

Now, An Indian firm is set to launch a new battle royale mobile game in partnership with Akshay Kumar, one of the film star of Indian Film Industry, on the void left by a ban on Chinese based firm Tencent’s popular Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG Mobile). It is told to the media by co-founder that nCore Games, which is based in the Bengaluru, will launch its Fearless and United Guards (FAUG) new game by the end of October as an alternative to PUBG.

The launch of FAUG also comes at a time when the SIno-Indian Conflict is going on and anti-Chinese sentiments are high in India with traders, entrepreneurs and Businessman echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call for the “Atma-Nirbhar-Bharat” or self-reliant India.
